Access by Car

From the North or the South:

From the north or south on I-95, exit 8 at US 202 north (Concord Pike); North on US 202 to Route 141 (approximately 1.5 miles); turn left on Route 141 (Powder Mill Road); go straight through the second traffic light (do not take the exit for Route 141); the Hospital is straight ahead through the gates at the next traffic light.

Go through the Main Gate, and make the 1st Left. Drive through the parking lot on your Left. Follow the Fire Lane and go pass the front of the Administration & Research Building. Park in the Visitors Parking Lot (just pass the main entrance of the Administration & Research Building). Follow the walkway to the front doors of the building (there will be a big circle with deer statues that sit in the front). The CPASS is located on the 2nd floor. Take the elevator or stairs to the 2nd floor. Check in with Clerk, Karen Dillard or Shirley Morrison, Administrative Coordinator located in room # 210.

From the West; Route 41 South to Route 48; Route 48 to Route 141; left on Route 141; travel a mile and a half, making a right at the second light onto Children’s Drive. The Hospital is straight ahead through the gates.

Access by Bus

DART First State

Wilmington: The #28 Bus Route travels to and from Wilmington and the Wilmington Train Station and stops on the hospital grounds. For information on DART FIRST STATE services, call (800) 652-DART.

DART First State Paratransit Service

Those in wheelchairs or otherwise in need of specialized transport can arrange for arrivals to and departures from the hospital. For information, call (800) 355-8080.

Greyhound - Trailways

Buses arrive and depart locally from the Wilmington
Transportation Center at 101 North French Street, Wilmington. For information on Greyhound-Trailways schedules, call (800) 231-2222.

Septa

The #202 Bus Route travels to and from West Chester, PA and the Brandywine Town Center. Visitors may transfer to DART's Bus Route #2 for the trip to 18th & Broom Streets in Wilmington and a transfer to the #28 Bus. For information, call (215) 580-7800

Access by Train

Amtrak Service

Provided daily at the Wilmington Train Station, Martin Luther King Boulevard and French Street, connecting to most major cities of the Northeast corridor. For information, call (800) 872-7245.

Septa

The Septa R2 Line runs from Warminster, PA through Philadelphia to the Wilmington Train Station at Martin Luther King Boulevard and French Street. For information, call (215) 580-7777.
